LION adds CO2 PPE cleaning to fire service support

LION Safety Solutions has partnered with Decontex Holding to deliver SuperCritical CO2 PPE Cleaning technology through LION TotalCare for fire departments.

LION said it will deploy the technology across its facilities nationwide over the next year.

The rollout will expand access to the system through LION TotalCare, with installation, servicing and support managed locally in partnership with Decontex.

The company said the technology was invented by NASA and developed by Decontex.

It added that the system exceeds NFPA 1850 cleaning standards, based on verification by an independent U.S. laboratory.
