Acquisition of Partnership Fire and Security
Ranger Fire and Security has completed its first acquisition of 2026 with Dorset-based Partnership Fire and Security.
The acquisition is Ranger’s 14th since launching in February 2024.
Ranger said it is its second acquisition in the South West, following the acquisition of Plymouth’s Universal Fire and Security in 2025.
Partnership Fire and Security was established in 1999.
The company has grown to cover more than 3,000 customers across Shaftesbury, Dorset and the South Coast.
Partnership provides alarm and security-based installation and maintenance services, ranging from intruder alarms and CCTV systems to fire alarms and extinguishers.
The business includes teams specialising in installation, alongside a full-time alarm servicing and maintenance department.
The company said its service range includes intruder and fire alarms, plus design, installation, monitoring and 24-hour call outs.
It said it supports projects through all stages, from design to completion, and cited certificates of excellence and quality control to BAFE and SSAIB standards.

Partnership will receive additional business support from Ranger’s leadership team as part of the deal.
The company will also be able to access and collaborate with Ranger’s network across the South West, the UK and Ireland.
Ranger said it has backing from Hyperion Equity Partners.
The company said it aims to become a one-stop provider for fire and security services across the UK and Ireland.
