Nightstick launches three USB-C rechargeable penlights for professional inspection work

Nightstick adds three rechargeable penlights

Nightstick has introduced three USB-C rechargeable penlights – the USB-210, USB-200 and USB-205ZF – for professionals who need compact lighting for inspection and routine work.

Nightstick said the new models are designed for demanding environments and include USB-C charging, rugged construction and IP-54 resistance to water and dust.

The USB-210 produces 500 lumens on high for 1.5 hours and 130 lumens on low for 4 hours.

Its aluminium body measures 5.75 inches and is intended for use in tight spaces or shirt pockets.

The USB-200 is the smallest model in the range at just over 4 inches long.

It produces 300 lumens on high for 1.5 hours and 60 lumens on low for 4 hours.

Nightstick details beam options and included features

The USB-205ZF Zoom Focus model adds an adjustable beam that shifts from a wide flood to a tight spotlight for close work or longer-range inspection.

It runs at 200 lumens on high for 3 hours and 30 lumens on low for 9 hours.

Each penlight includes a sliding sleeve over the USB-C port and a USB-C charging cable.

The range also includes a pocket clip for attaching the light to a uniform, clipboard or cap.

All three models include momentary and constant-on modes and are described as built for everyday job use.

Nightstick said the penlights are intended for industrial workers, utility crews, law enforcement personnel and other users who need compact illumination.

New Nightstick scene light delivers 12,500 lumens in portable format

Nightstick launches new portable scene light

Nightstick has launched the NSR-1518, a rechargeable portable LED scene light with a maximum output of 12,500 lumens.

Nightstick announced the product as a new addition to its lighting range, describing it as the most powerful scene light in its lineup.

The light has a 6,250-lumen low mode and is designed for jobs where rapid scene lighting is needed.

A 360-degree rotating handle allows it to be carried or hooked over doors, ladders and tree limbs.

The light head oscillates forward and back so crews can direct the beam where needed.

Nightstick said the unit weighs 8.5 pounds and is compact enough for one-handed deployment.

Design, runtime and compliance details

The NSR-1518 uses a cast aluminium body with a fin design intended to manage heat in demanding work environments.

A rare earth magnetic base provides 40 pounds of pull force for attachment to metal surfaces without clamps or stands.

Sealed push-button controls are intended to support use while wearing gloves.

The light can be charged using AC power and has a five-hour runtime on high.

An integrated battery life indicator shows remaining runtime during use.

Jonathan Gordon, Marketing Manager for Industrial and Fire at Nightstick, said: “Crews told us they needed high performance they could deploy with one hand and without a truck.”

“The NSR-1518 delivers full-scene lighting in seconds without bulky towers or complex setup.”

Nightstick said the NSR-1518 is backed by a one-year limited warranty and meets the requirements of NFPA-1971-8.6 (2018).
