Interschutz 2026 will see Magirus exhibit at the civil protection and security trade fair in Hannover from 1 to 6 June 2026, highlighting its evolving role as a system provider for fire and disaster control as well as defence and security.

Under the motto “Built to Protect,” Magirus Interschutz 2026 will be centred at Pavilion 32 at Interschutz 2026, where the company will present SmartControl turntable ladders, new equipment, live demonstrations and interactive formats designed to create a hands-on experience and place for industry exchange.

The company said the trade fair appearance reflects its transformation over more than 160 years, as geopolitical conflicts, emerging threats and rising demands for critical infrastructure protection continue to reshape civil protection requirements.

Magirus said it now operates across fire and disaster control and increasingly into defence and security applications, including tactical vehicle solutions for armed forces and security authorities.

Expanding role in defence and security systems

As part of its presence at Magirus Interschutz 2026, the company will emphasise its expanded Defence & Security business unit, positioning itself across the full spectrum of modern operational scenarios.

The Magirus Pavilion 32 will function as an interactive hub featuring live demonstrations, partner engagement and the “Operation 112” firefighter challenge. The company said the format is intended to bring together emergency services, partners and the wider safety community.

Visitors will also be able to explore new operational ideas and technologies aimed at supporting future civil protection requirements, particularly around critical infrastructure and disaster response.

Fomtec has invited visitors to meet its team at INTERSCHUTZ 2026 in Hannover, Germany, where it will exhibit in Hall 13 at Stand B20.

Fomtec details Enviro NEO

Enviro NEO is a synthetic fluorine-free firefighting foam (SFFF) for petrochemical, oil and gas, marine and other high-hazard industries.

The company described the product as part of its Enviro Programme and said its development was based on thousands of full-scale fire tests.

It said the formulation uses 100% hydrated polymers, which it says removes issues linked to partially hydrated polymers and unstable viscosity.

According to Fomtec, this is intended to support reliable proportioning and uniform foam performance from initial discharge through to complete extinguishment, including offshore and petrochemical oil and gas environments.

Fomtec lists test standards and applications

Fomtec said Enviro NEO is designed for use with fresh, brackish and seawater.

The company said the product is suited to coastal, marine and offshore installations.

It also said Enviro NEO has been validated through, and beyond, standards including EN 1568, UL 162, ICAO, IMO and LASTFIRE.

The Hannover event will also give visitors an opportunity to discuss the product directly with the company’s sales team.
