The Portable Scene Light III builds on the capabilities of the Portable Scene Light and Portable Scene Light II, which came before it. It is a rugged, waterproof, high-lumen portable lighting solution designed for demanding emergency scenes, job sites and first responder applications.

Featuring twelve powerful LEDs with wide-pattern reflectors, it delivers a uniform beam for maximum coverage, helping crews illuminate large working areas quickly and effectively.

With three adjustable brightness levels, the Portable Scene Light III can be adapted to suit the operational requirements. On High, it delivers 10,000 lumens, 121,000 candela and a 696 metre beam distance, with a run time of two hours.

Medium provides 5,000 lumens, 61,100 candela and a 494 metre beam distance, running for four hours, while Low offers 2,500 lumens, 38,000 candela and a 390 metre beam distance, with an eight hour run time.

Designed for flexibility in the field, the Portable Scene Light III supports multiple power options, including a swappable Streamlight® SL-P6™ Lithium-Ion battery pack, dedicated charger, AC power supply or DC power source. Its light head offers 360° rotation and 180° pivoting, giving crews a full range of motion to direct illumination exactly where it is needed.

The included wireless remote controls all functions from up to 75 feet away and can be paired with multiple lights for simultaneous use. The modular design allows the light head to be used with or without the heavy-duty tripod, supporting both elevated scene lighting and more flexible close-range deployment.

With rugged construction, IPX7 waterproof rating with the battery installed, reversible spiked tripod feet and an integrated carry handle, the Portable Scene Light III is built for all-weather use across demanding emergency environments.

For long-range search and scene lighting, the LiteBox® 1Million® provides a powerful new option within the Streamlight® line-up. It is a rugged, heavy-duty, rechargeable and fully portable high-intensity search light/scene light engineered for demanding professional use.

Delivering 1.25 million candlepower, it emits a focused beam capable of illuminating objects up to 1.39 miles away, while also providing peripheral light for broader visibility.

The LiteBox® 1Million® offers High and Low modes. On High, it delivers 3,300 lumens, 1,250,000 candela and a 2,236 metre beam distance, with a run time of 4.5 hours. On Low, it provides 525 lumens, 200,000 candela and an 894 metre beam distance, with a run time of 22.5 hours.

Its articulating light head pivots 135° and rotates 270°, allowing users to position the beam for long[1]range identification, scanning and scene support.

For fire and rescue teams, the LiteBox® 1Million® is particularly valuable in outdoor searches, perimeter assessment, waterway operations, large incident grounds and other situations where long-distance visibility is essential.

Streamlight introduces high-performance emergency lighting for tactical and industrial users

Streamlight expands emergency lighting portfolio with new ProTac series

Streamlight has announced two new high-intensity additions to its ProTac range, combining power, beam distance and durability for professional users.

The company launched the ProTac HP-X USB, the ProTac HP-X and the ProTac 2.0 HP, expanding its emergency lighting range for tactical, rescue and industrial applications.

All three handheld flashlights are designed to deliver focused beams and long-distance illumination, built to withstand demanding operational conditions.

Michael F. Dineen, President of Streamlight, said: “The new ProTac HP-X series delivers the high intensity beams and versatility that professionals such as those in law enforcement, search and rescue, security, and industrial operations depend on.”

He added: “Whether powered by USB rechargeable or disposable batteries, these lights provide robust, long-distance illumination with the durability and features our users have come to expect.”

ProTac HP-X and HP-X USB deliver focused high-candela beams

According to Streamlight, the ProTac HP-X USB and ProTac HP-X both produce 800 lumens and 105,000 candela, giving a beam distance of 648 metres.

The ProTac HP-X USB model includes a Streamlight SL-B26 rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack with an integrated USB-C charging port.

It provides up to 31 hours of run time and can recharge fully in five hours.

The ProTac HP-X version operates on two CR123A lithium batteries, offering flexibility for users who prefer disposable options and providing up to 24 hours of use.

Both models include a multi-function tactical tail cap switch with TEN-TAP programming, offering selectable modes including high/strobe/low, high only, or low/medium/high.

Each flashlight features an anti-roll face cap, a removable pocket clip, and a durable holster.

The lights are built from 6000 series machined aircraft aluminium with a Type II MIL-Spec anodised finish, making them impact-resistant to two metres and IP68-rated for dust-tight and waterproof operation.

ProTac 2.0 HP offers greater brightness and range

Streamlight said the new ProTac 2.0 HP produces 2,000 lumens and 85,000 candela, providing nearly five times the distance output of its predecessor.

The flashlight features three modes – High, Medium and Low – with run times ranging from 31 hours on Low to 2.5 hours on High.

Its strobe function offers a two-hour duration.

The ProTac 2.0 HP is powered by the Streamlight SL-B50 rechargeable lithium-ion battery with a sliding sleeve for access and an integrated USB-C charging port.

The battery includes LED indicators for charge status and a safety circuit to prevent overcharge or discharge.

Dineen said: “This latest addition to the ProTac series of tactical handheld lights provides first responders, security units, outdoor enthusiasts, and others a light that combines balanced brightness – both distance illumination and ultra-bright light – without sacrificing run times.”

He added: “Users will appreciate the convenience and ease of charging the battery pack either inside or outside of the light.”

The flashlight measures 15.5 centimetres in length, weighs 234 grams with the SL-B50 battery, and is IP67-rated for dust-tight and waterproof operation to one metre for 30 minutes.

Durable design across the ProTac series

Water proofing is tested under similarly rigorous conditions.

Flashlights are exposed to high-pressure water jets or submerged to ensure seals remain intact and internal components are protected.

Streamlight has introduced the Stinger 2020 S, a rechargeable work light designed to deliver 2,000 lumens of brightness, as reported by Streamlight.

The Stinger 2020 S is equipped with a body-mounted switch featuring an intensity mode selector and battery status indicator.

Its ergonomic flat design and textured body provide improved grip during use.
