ProDefend launch targets a £2 billion market
Key Integrated Services has launched fire protection and security specialist ProDefend to expand the services it can offer customers, according to the company. pasted
The company said the new business has been launched at a time when multiple factors are driving demand.
Key Integrated Services said ProDefend will provide specialist fire protection and security solutions alongside its core mechanical and electrical services.
ProDefend scope across fire and security
Key Integrated Services said ProDefend’s offer includes the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of a range of fire protection and security systems.
On fire protection, the company said the scope includes fire alarm and detection solutions and fire suppression systems.
On security, it said ProDefend will offer CCTV, intruder detection, access control and remote monitoring.
Leadership and technical experience
Key Integrated Services said ProDefend will be led by sector specialist Mike Trenbath.
The company said Trenbath has more than 25 years’ experience in fire protection and security, including senior roles at ProTec Camerfield, Hall & Kay Fire Engineering and Alpine Fire Engineers.
It said he has experience in fire suppression and an understanding of gaseous systems, sprinkler systems and water mist.
