Kentec expands Sigma ZXT compliance with UL 864 listing

Kentec panel gains UL 864 listing

Kentec has announced that its Sigma ZXT control panel has achieved an Underwriters Laboratories (UL) listing to the UL 864 10th edition standard, allowing the platform to support compliant fire detection and suppression systems in global markets.

Kentec said the listing applies to a panel designed for early-warning fire detection and suppression systems across the Americas, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

The Sigma ZXT builds on the company’s Sigma A-XT range with additional features and compliance with the latest standards.

It can be configured with dual extinguishing outputs to support main and reserve cylinders, helping reduce downtime after a release.

A dynamic LCD display provides real-time system status using green, red, blue and amber indication for conditions including fire, faults and releasing stages.

The panel can also store 1,000 event logs in a downloadable record for diagnostics and investigation.

Technical details of the Sigma ZXT

Kentec said the panel is suited to high-risk applications including battery energy storage systems (BESS), where conditions that could lead to thermal runaway and fire need to be identified quickly.

Three initiating device circuits can be configured for coincidence activation so extinguishant release only occurs after confirmation of a fire event.

Three notification appliance circuits support horns, strobes and horn strobe devices from multiple suppliers, with patterns that indicate different stages of extinguishant release.

Six programmable volt-free relay outputs and two programmable inputs allow site-specific function control.

Remote indication and control can be provided through Sigma ZSi Status Units, with up to seven units connected on a monitored RS485 Data Bus.

Additional fixed-function relay outputs can be added through up to seven Sigma ZXT UL Ancillary Boards.

Kentec outlines market use

LION partners with PSTrax to improve PPE inspection records and equipment tracking

PPE tracking and lifecycle management integration

LION and PSTrax have announced a partnership to support fire and EMS agencies in managing PPE tracking, inspections and service life through a combined equipment and digital platform approach.

The companies confirmed the partnership on 7 April 2026 in Dayton, Ohio, outlining plans to connect LION protective equipment with the PSTrax operations management system used by public safety agencies.

The integration links protective equipment with a platform that tracks apparatus checks, equipment inspections and asset maintenance across operational environments.

Fire and EMS agencies are required to maintain detailed records for PPE inspections, cleaning, repairs and retirement under National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards including NFPA 1851.

Manual systems such as spreadsheets or paper records can create challenges when departments need to produce documentation during audits or track equipment across its full service life.

“Fire and EMS agencies are under increasing pressure to maintain accurate records for PPE inspections and lifecycle management,” said Scott Bergeron, Chief Ambassador Officer and former CEO at PSTrax.

“Our partnership with LION helps departments connect the equipment first responders rely on every day with a digital system designed to support accountability, documentation, and operational readiness.”

Operational use and platform capabilities

Through the partnership, agencies using PSTrax can track PPE assignments, inspection history, maintenance activity and retirement timelines within the same system used for other operational equipment.

Departments using LION protective equipment can manage PPE data alongside existing apparatus and asset records within the PSTrax platform.

“Our focus has always been on supporting first responder safety through reliable, high-performance protective equipment,” said Adam Hall, Senior Vice President of LION’s Identity and Protection Systems business unit.

“By partnering with PSTrax, we’re helping fire and EMS agencies better manage the gear they depend on while supporting the documentation and accountability requirements they face.”

The partnership centres on improving documentation consistency and visibility of equipment condition across agency operations.

Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service deploys body worn cameras on frontline

Body worn cameras introduced across GMFRS operations

Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) is introducing body worn cameras for firefighters across 41 stations following recommendations from the Manchester Arena Inquiry.

GMFRS said the cameras will provide a real-time record of incidents, capturing video and audio to support decision-making and operational review.

A total of 233 cameras will be issued, with all 52 fire appliances carrying a device.

Frontline officers will receive the cameras first, followed by prevention and protection teams and the incident command academy.

The devices record high-definition video and audio during incidents, creating a record of what crews see and hear.

The cameras can livestream footage to senior officers, allowing incidents to be viewed as they unfold and supporting oversight during complex situations.

rollout informed by Manchester Arena Inquiry findings

The Manchester Arena Inquiry highlighted the need to capture clear information and record decision-making during major incidents involving multiple emergency services.

The cameras will be used at incidents including house fires and road traffic collisions, as well as larger emergencies.

Footage will support post-incident review and training, helping crews assess how incidents were managed.

The rollout follows a pilot in May 2025 where the cameras were tested in real incident conditions.

The trial showed the devices could provide a reliable record of events and give senior leaders visibility of incidents through livestreaming.

Deputy Chief Fire Officer Carlos Meakin said: “Introducing body worn cameras is a significant step forward for our Service.

“It’s about giving firefighters the tools they need to work safely and effectively at complex or fast-moving incidents, while also helping to protect our crews by providing a clear record of the challenges they face on the frontline.

“The ability to livestream footage and review it afterwards will strengthen how we support crews on the ground, improve training, and enhance how we respond to major emergencies.

“This investment reflects our commitment to learning from the Manchester Arena Inquiry and continuing to strengthen how we respond to incidents across Greater Manchester.”

Fire Brigades Union representative Dave Pike said: “The Fire Brigades Union played an active part in supporting its members throughout the Manchester Arena Inquiry and supports the outcomes that were reached.

“It’s important that new technology supports our members in doing their jobs safely and provides a clear and accurate record of incidents.

“These cameras will help protect our members, support learning and ensure there is transparency about what happens at incidents.”

The rollout will continue across the service following the initial deployment to frontline officers.

PPE under pressure: Semmco LPS shows how placement determines EEBD effectiveness

In hazardous atmospheres, escape is shaped by route design and movement, with Semmco LPS EEBDs supporting withdrawal under pressure

Emergency Escape Breathing Devices (EEBDs) sit in a narrow part of life safety.

They come into use at the point air becomes unsafe.

They give a wearer enough breathing time to leave a space after smoke has spread or oxygen levels have fallen, which places them between PPE and escape planning, where route length and delay shape the outcome.

In practice, that moment rarely arrives in ideal conditions.

Alarm signals, reduced visibility and uncertainty around the route all affect how quickly a person can act.

Semmco LPS designs short-duration oxygen breathing apparatus for escape and working rescue across marine and industrial settings.

EEBDs sit with escape PPE

An EEBD supplies breathable oxygen for a short escape window so the wearer can keep moving through unsafe air.

In Semmco’s range, that is delivered through a closed-circuit oxygen re-breather system.

A starter supply covers the first breath as the unit leaves its case, then exhaled moisture activates the KO2 canister, which absorbs carbon dioxide and releases oxygen.

That distinction needs to stay clear in site procedures because EEBDs belong with escape PPE.

Fire attack and extended work in a hazardous atmosphere call for other breathing apparatus.

This separation affects decision-making during an incident, as a worker reaching for an EEBD is committing to withdrawal rather than intervention.

The same distinction carries through into specification.

A short-duration escape set serves a worker heading for an exit, while a working set supports a crew moving into danger for a defined task.

Duration starts with route time

That distinction becomes more concrete when duration is considered in practice.

Rated duration is often the first figure people look for, but route time needs to come first.

A 15-minute unit may suit a shipboard escape route, aligning with the Marine 15 EEBD.

A 20-minute unit may suit a larger industrial site where travel distances are longer, reflected in the Industrial 20.

The difference becomes clearer when mapped against real layouts.

A worker in a lower deck machinery space, or deep within a plant room, may face direction changes and vertical movement before reaching open air.

Stress changes the picture quickly.

Breathing rate rises.

Visibility falls.

Movement slows on stairs or ladders.

Obstacles and congestion at exits can extend that time further, especially for contractors or visitors.

A usable margin comes from the longest credible route under poor conditions, with calm drills on a clear route giving a starting figure rather than the final answer.

Both versions also have a 60-minute at-rest duration, though escape planning still centres on the rated escape time, with room for delay once visibility drops.

Placement shapes use

If duration defines how long a worker has, placement defines whether they can use that time at all.

A device helps only when it can be reached without hesitation.

In machinery spaces, plant rooms and tunnels, that usually means positioning the EEBD along the natural line of travel to the exit.

On ships, it often means locations near ladder bases, with escape trunk access points needing their own coverage.

That positioning reduces the need for decision-making under pressure, where a worker follows a known route and encounters equipment where it is expected.

In Semmco’s range, the storage bracket supports that approach by keeping the unit visible and ready for quick removal.

Belt clips and waist-mounted options meet a different need by placing the device on the wearer where fixed storage would leave too much distance between the person and the set.

Storage has to follow the route out, and the viability indicator needs a clear line of sight during routine checks.

Hidden equipment adds delay, and delay cuts into breathing time.

Training needs repeated handling

Training needs more than a single demonstration.

People need repeated handling so the order of use feels familiar before an alarm sounds.

Semmco’s EEBD training set supports that approach by providing a replica unit for repeated drills, with a mouthpiece and hose that can be cleaned between sessions, allowing live sets to remain in service.

This matters on sites where a worker may have to climb a ladder or pass through a hatch while visibility drops.

It also applies in smoke-affected corridors, where the user needs to understand how the EEBD sits around the neck and how the breathing bag moves during escape.

That familiarity reduces hesitation, as even a short pause while recalling the sequence can affect available escape time.

Contractors need the same level of familiarity when work takes them into enclosed areas or temporary shutdown zones, where confidence in both the route and the device can shorten the pause between alarm and movement.

How this plays out in practice

Consider a worker in an enclosed engine room when a fire starts in an adjacent space.

Smoke begins to spread before the full extent of the incident is clear, and visibility drops as the alarm sounds.

The worker reaches the nearest EEBD positioned along the escape route, activates it and begins moving toward the exit.

The route includes a ladder and a change in direction, with a short delay where other personnel converge on the same access point.

Breathing rate rises with exertion, and movement slows as visibility reduces.

The rated duration of the unit is no longer an abstract figure, it is being used against real time lost to movement and uncertainty.

In that situation, placement and training shape the outcome as much as the specification of the device itself.

The EEBD provides the breathing window, but the plan determines whether that window is enough.

Standards and approvals still matter

Marine rules remain the clearest reference point for EEBD provision.

SOLAS and the IMO Fire Safety Systems Code set minimum expectations for carriage and use in shipboard spaces, while ISO 23269-1 defines performance requirements and keeps the escape purpose of the category in view.

Semmco’s Marine 15 EEBD sits within that framework with UKCA and CE Wheelmark approval, while the Industrial 20 holds UKCA and CE approval for land-based use.

These approvals tie the products to recognised test routes, with site selection then resting on local risk assessment, route length and expected escape conditions.

They also keep marine and industrial use clearly separated.

Shipboard environments carry defined carriage and operating duties, while industrial sites rely on local assessment, permit systems and escape planning linked to layout.

Shelf life and inspection sit in the same discussion

Storage life affects replacement planning and ongoing checks.

In Semmco’s range, storage life extends up to 15 years with regular visual inspection during that period, bringing the viability indicator and storage position into the same operational discussion.

The requirement remains simple.

The unit must stay visible and accessible, and it must stay within its service window.

Inspection routines carry more weight where equipment is distributed across large or complex sites, where missed checks can leave gaps in coverage.

A unit that passes inspection but sits out of sight still introduces delay during an evacuation.

Placement returns to the front here as well, as a unit mounted away from the natural exit route may remain compliant on paper, then lose time when it matters.

Device choice works best when the plan is site-based

EEBD selection works best when device choice follows the route out and the pace of movement during escape, with the likely air hazard shaping that choice.

In Semmco’s range, the Marine 15 and Industrial 20 reflect that approach, each built around a defined escape context.

Moving from strength to strength: Redline Gear Cleaning’s mission to reduce firefighter cancer risk

Michael Matros, President and Founder of Redline Gear Cleaning spotlights the critical impact of fast turnarounds and keeping gear clean

Michael Matros had a vision- to make clean gear accessible.

After founding Redline Gear Cleaning in 2019, the company have only gone from strength to strength.

In this interview with International Fire and Safety Journal (IFSJ) Assistant Editor Isabelle Crow, Matros discusses the challenges he has fought to overcome and why his mission was always personal.

As Matros puts it: “I knew I had the opportunity to create a change”.

A significant focus of Redline’s is meeting the NFPA 1851 standard, why is maintaining and exceeding these standards essential to your work?

The NFPA 1851 standard is basically our Bible.

In our world, that’s the regulatory agent that decides how gear should be cleaned and handled.

Therefore, we take not just achieving but exceeding the standard incredibly seriously.

We make sure we go above and beyond on every level, even if we are cleaning the gear in a truck and on a mobile platform.

We never use this as an excuse, in fact, it’s a benefit to the business.

What are the biggest challenges you see fire departments and safety teams facing today when it comes to gear maintenance and decontamination and how does Redline address these issues?

Logistics and time are by far the biggest issue.

For a firefighter to send his gear out for a couple of weeks or even months in the worst case, is similar to you not having a computer.

They are completely handicapped as a firefighter and can’t perform their job.

This means people often refuse to send their gear out for cleaning because they don’t have another set or simply just the time.

Firefighter often opt to just reuse dirty gear instead.

The detrimental impact of wearing dirty gear cannot be undermined, this is because of the direct link to an increased risk of cancer for firefighters.

Therefore, being able to handle the logistics of same-day cleaning is essential.


We want to continue to be in a position where we bring the resources to the station, whether that be by educating firefighters on proper gear cleaning or by bringing the cleaning to them.

Our goal has always been to come in and clean everything on-site and have it turned around in three hours.

With conversations only growing surrounding the link between a career fighting fires and occupational cancer, why is playing a role in preventing particulates and contaminants such a personal mission for the company?

Alongside being the Founder and President of Redline, I am still a career firefighter, with 22-years’ experience as a firefighter paramedic.

For me, this business has always been personal.

I launched Redline because I had a nonprofit that focused on cancer prevention in the fire service, I was constantly pushing clean gear from that perspective.

Unfortunately, I have been to too many funerals of people who have passed away from occupational cancer- it is an issue that we just needed to do better on.

It was when my Chief was telling me that the gear that had just been sent off would be several weeks until it returned that I realized the severity of the situation.

What was I going to do without my gear? This was when I began to realize that the logistics of cleaning gear and the reality were two different worlds.

I began asking why we didn’t just have a company come and clean the gear in-house, to which I was told that this did not exist.

In that moment, I knew I had the opportunity to create a change, by putting the cleaning unit into a truck.

It never crossed my mind that I would be in the laundry business, but the need within the fire service was undeniable.

Redline Gear Cleaning was launched in 2019 and we are now opening our 15th location as the fastest growing ISP in the fire service.

The goal for us has always been to remain focused on customer service and offer our clients a simple and easy process.

We are growing so quickly that it can be hard to keep track, at the moment, we are basically putting a new truck on the road about every three months.

Redline is now the official ISP of FDIC, so we work to clean every piece of gear at the show.

It is a fantastic opportunity for us.

 Last year, we had six trucks and this year we will have ten alongside 75 employees- our presence is only growing.


Redline provides rapid response cleaning and a Mobile Extraction Unit. What feedback have you received from departments about the impact of your ability to quickly turnaround clean gear?

Our impact has been critical to fire departments.

It has gotten to the point where a lot of departments have built us into their response cards, they are starting to look to us as much as they do their neighbors for mutual aid assignments.

We’ve even had customers tell us they will purchase anything we offer because it only builds upon their current experience; Redline is becoming their full PPE compliance department.

Rather than just a service, we offer a complete operational change to the department with renowned health and safety benefits.

Reducing exposure: Rescue Intellitech highlights PPE risks in UK fire services

Rescue Intellitech’s UK and Ireland Sales Manager, Nick Croad, examines growing concerns over firefighters’ exposure to toxic smoke particles and how UK Fire and Rescue Services are strengthening decontamination procedures to reduce risk

Evidence continues to grow linking firefighters’ exposure to smoke particles with serious long-term health risks.

While specialist protective clothing and self-contained breathing apparatus help firefighters to stay safe during incidents, there is increasing concern that toxic residues from smoke can linger on PPE long after a fire is extinguished, where they can later be inhaled or absorbed through the skin, potentially causing harm.

In 2023, a report by the International Agency for Research on Cancer classified occupational exposure as a firefighter as carcinogenic, specifically identifying increased risks of mesothelioma and bladder cancer.

In the same year, a study by the University of Central Lancashire, commissioned by the Fire Brigades Union (FBU), found that UK firefighters have higher rates of cancer than the general population.

Significantly, it revealed that firefighters who remain in PPE for more than four hours after attending a fire are more than twice as likely to develop cancer than those who remove PPE within 30 minutes.

In February this year, the London Assembly Fire Committee published a report investigating contamination exposure within the London Fire Brigade.

It called for improved monitoring and measurement of exposure and made recommendations to central Government to consider establishing a nation-wide health monitoring programme for UK firefighters.

Stronger measures

In the meantime, in response to these concerns, organisations such as the FBU have been campaigning for stronger contamination control measures to better protect firefighters.

It is hoped that more robust decontamination procedures within the fire station and regular cleaning of PPE will help reduce the risks to firefighter health.

In March 2025, the FBU set out several recommendations for FRSs in its Best Practice Report, including:

  • Implementing formal decontamination procedures covering on-scene, post-incident and station-based cleaning processes.
  • Ensuring PPE is cleaned and decontaminated after fire incidents, preventing the build-up of hazardous contaminants on kit.
  • Designing stations with clear contamination zones, such as red, amber and green areas, to prevent dirty equipment entering clean spaces.
  • Providing training on contamination risks and safe working practices.
  • Encouraging rapid personal decontamination, including showering and changing into clean clothing as soon as possible after incidents.

FRSs around the UK are already taking these recommendations seriously, by reviewing decontamination procedures and adapting the fire station layout to reduce exposure risks.

This includes assessing and improving PPE handling, equipment cleaning and staff training.

A growing number are upgrading their decontamination rooms and PPE cleaning facilities, creating clearly defined zones around the station to ensure designated areas stay clean.

Heavy-duty cleaning

Chris Simpson, Watch Manager and Equipment Officer at Avon FRS explains how Solo Rescue machines have become integral to its decontamination procedures: “We have a ‘safe undress’ policy for removing PPE after an incident.

“Jacket, trousers, boots and gloves are carefully removed, and special wipes are used to clean exposed skin.

“Then latex gloves are put on before the helmet is removed and the flash hood taken off over the mask and down the SCBA hose.

“The SCBA mask is the last thing to remove, replaced immediately with an FFP3 mask.

“Dirty clothing is then placed in red bags and stored in a separate area of the truck and station for collection and cleaning, while the helmets and SCBA are also bagged and taken to one of our stations for decontamination in the Solo Rescue machines.

“These can be loaded in batches which is very easy, and much quicker than cleaning by hand.

“We then try to ‘shower within the hour’ using special soap and shampoo for removing contaminants.

“Together, these are all important steps to help us minimise exposure to harmful particles and keep our crews safe.”

Similarly, Buckinghamshire FRS uses a bank of six Solo Rescue machines to decontaminate SCBA equipment.

Aron Ridgely, Station Commander, said: “We have robust decontamination processes in place at the scene of an incident and back at the station.

“Contaminated PPE is bagged and sealed and only handled with a mask and gloves.

“By using Solo Rescue, it has continued to reduce risks, as firefighters now have minimal contact with contaminated equipment during washing.”

States of Jersey Fire and Rescue Service (SJFRS) has also installed a Solo Rescue machine at its headquarters in St Helier as part of a reconfiguration of its decontamination room.

Previously, SCBA and other PPE items were carefully cleaned by hand, but keen to mitigate the health risks as much as possible, SJFRS decided to invest in a decontamination machine for a deeper clean.

Station Commander, Ben Elliott, comments: “We recognised that by investing in the Solo Rescue machine, the process would be quicker and more efficient, as well as safer for our staff.

“Crucially, the mechanical cleaning of PPE helps to reduce exposure and contact time.

“In particular, SCBA sets are complex and tricky to clean manually, but come out visibly cleaner with the Solo Rescue.”

Importance of collaboration

To complete the fit out of the newly configured decontamination area, SJFRS has also ordered two drying cabinets, a large DC20 and a smaller DC8, which will be located in the adjacent drying room.

As the understanding of contamination risks to firefighters continues to develop, FRSs are increasingly focussing on robust decontamination procedures and improved facilities to help keep their crews safe.

By combining clear operational guidance, effective training and appropriate equipment, fire services are taking action now to reduce exposure risks and protect firefighter health for the future.

iTrackPPE wins South Yorkshire Fire contract for PPE management

iTrackPPE contract covers PPE and assets

South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service (SYFRS) has awarded iTrackPPE a three year contract to modernise the management of firefighter Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Breathing Apparatus (BA) and wider operational assets.

iTrackPPE said that the partnership will introduce Zebra RFID and QR technology across the service in South Yorkshire.

The system is intended to support SYFRS’s move from personal issue PPE to a pooled stock model.

It is also expected to increase the availability of clean PPE, improve access to compliant kit and provide real time visibility across the organisation.

The programme includes the creation of British Standards-aligned PPE passports, full lifecycle traceability and compliance monitoring.

SYFRS will also onboard BA and other operational equipment through the same digital platform.

Service and supplier set out programme aims

Deputy Chief Fire Officer Andy Strelczenie, Strategic Sponsor, said: “Firefighter safety is central to every decision we make and strengthening how we manage PPE contaminants is an important part of that.

The company said its platform combines RFID and QR technologies with mobile workflows and configurable reporting to show asset location, condition, usage and cleaning status in real time.

It said the system supports PPE passporting, contamination control, intelligent distribution and long term optimisation through its iTrackCompleteCare service model.

The contract will run for three years and covers firefighter PPE, BA and additional operational equipment across SYFRS.

BIOEX launches fluorine-free wildland firefighting foam range

BIOEX presents two wildland foam concentrates

BIOEX has presented its wildland firefighting range, made up of ECOPOL F and BIOFOR, with both concentrates described as 100% fluorine-free and fully biodegradable for forest fire operations.

The French manufacturer BIOEX outlined the range as suitable for wildland firefighting across different terrains, seasons and delivery platforms.

ECOPOL F and BIOFOR are free of PFAs and are described as non-toxic to animals and vegetation.

Both products are stated to comply with current and future environmental regulations including the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Stewardship Program and the European Groundwater Directive.

BIOEX details ECOPOL F applications

ECOPOL F operates at concentrations from 0.1% as a wetting agent to 1% as a foam agent.

Its surfactant technology is described as driving water into burning solids to extinguish embers and reduce re-ignition.

At 0.1% to 0.5%, the product is intended for wetting applications involving vegetation, timber, tyres, plastics, car fires and structure fires.

At 0.5% to 1%, it forms an adhesive foam blanket that clings to vertical surfaces at low, medium and high expansion.

It is also described as suitable for contained Class B hydrocarbon fire scenarios involving diesel, kerosene and petrol.

The concentrate is listed for aerial and ground delivery including airtankers, helicopters, compressed air foam systems and foam proportioners.

A nitrate-free corrosion inhibitor is included alongside a 10-year warranty.

ECOPOL F is listed on the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service QPL and is GreenScreen Certified.

BIOFOR is positioned for year-round use

BIOFOR is designed for wildland firefighting in remote terrain, cold weather and large-scale aerial coverage.

Its Newtonian viscosity enables pumping with standard proportioning equipment and its freeze-protection formula removes the need for heated storage.

The product supports low, medium and high expansion within a single concentrate.

Wetting properties are described as enabling water to penetrate burning solids more quickly, addressing embers at the fire’s core.

It also creates visible firebreaks on the ground to support tactical operations.

The formulation is suitable for use in winter and cold-climate zones without heated storage.

A low concentration rate is described as reducing storage requirements and supporting operational flexibility.

Siemens Smart Infrastructure has unveiled the Cerberus Nova fire detector portfolio, a new range designed for connected buildings and intended for sectors including healthcare, higher education, data centres and commercial real estate.

Siemens said the detectors are designed to support operational safety, improve service team efficiency and enable cloud-connected digital services.

The portfolio includes continuous self-checking through Disturbance-Free Testing technology, alongside Smoke Entry Supervision technology that monitors smoke entry points in real time.

In healthcare settings, the detectors are intended to support continuous detection and reduce potential system downtime.

ASAplus technology uses multi-wavelength optical and dual thermal detection to reduce false alarms and unnecessary evacuations.

The detectors are also compatible with cloud-based applications including Siemens Building X Fire Apps, allowing real-time monitoring, remote diagnostics and predictive maintenance.

Siemens details use cases across sectors

In data centres, the detectors are positioned to address risks linked to overheating and electrical failures in environments with dense electrical infrastructure and continuous operational demands.

Automated self-checks, cloud-based monitoring and predictive maintenance are intended to help facility teams respond earlier and reduce disruption to critical IT and electrical assets.

Across higher education and commercial real estate, the portfolio is aimed at organisations managing multiple buildings across different sites.

Continuous monitoring and proactive maintenance are intended to help teams maintain consistent protection standards and reduce unnecessary disruption across dispersed estates.

Siemens said the detectors carry its EcoTech environmental product performance label, are made from recycled plastics and were developed and are produced in Switzerland.
